From the brokerage SB Equities, Inc., Lopez company, Benpres Holding Corporation (BPC) got an “accumulate” tag.


To accumulate shares, means to purchase stock on this company and might start small or minimum buy only. Then continuously purchase during the market dips or in bargain price.
 
Benpres Holding Corp. is now trading below its book value of Php7.00 and for the past few years, BPC has been effectively implemented its debt reduction program, which achieved better financial status. From last week published report, BPC net income surge at Php11.02 billion for the first quarter of 2010, reversing its Php176 million net loss in the same period last 2009.


Benpres Holding diversified their portfolio at Broadcasting and Cable Network, Telecommunications, Power Generation and Distribution, and Banking. Later, it added to other investments in Basic Service Sector. And all have performed well for this first quarter of 2010.

The company also announced to change its corporate name to Lopez Holding Corporation, which to be discussed this coming June 10, 2010 on their annual meeting.

Technically, price close today at 3.60/s with the support range at 3.40/s and resistance at 3.70/s. And trending up-sideway, to accumulate stocks on this company is to keep buying at dips or near to the support value. 52 week high is 4.20/s and the lowest is 1.82/s. Current P/E is 1.385 pts.

It’s been also rumored that the Lopez Group will push the stock price higher after the change of the corporate name to electrify the investors about the new company status.
